Thanks for stopping by and taking a look at my blog!

I'm Clare Therese, a freelance visual artist and surface pattern designer based in Winchester, Hampshire.  This has always been a bit of a visual journal to document what I get up to and to share whenever I find something that I think is interesting or beautiful.

I post whatever I've been up to at the time, from groups of observational to narrative drawings, pattern designs, prints and handmade items. I source from anything and everything, nature, textiles, art, online pin boards, printed media and finds from museums and galleries and try and reference as much as poss, so please correct me if i'm wrong!

I would really like to get in touch with other makers, artists and designers so please, please if you have a minute please leave your comments and a link to your blog!

- Background info & training-

I have been drawing and making things for as long as I can remember and studied painting at what used to be called the Norwich School of Art and Design graduating a few years ago. I carried on making drawings and paintings in a studio in my hometown of Bath, and from there I went on to spend an amazing year at the Royal Drawing School, as a postgraduate student. This was mainly observational drawing, from the model and galleries and museum. It was a great opportunity to be able to stockpile images, ideas and draw from the rich imagery in some of the London collections. Since then alongside various jobs I am thankfully still making and thinking about being creative.

I'm represented by Yellow House Licensing, and welcome any opportunities to collaborate and make!
