Freya's Hand painted Daily Schedule!

Thought I'd share a little project I've been working on for my little bridesmaid Freya. Her mama, papa and I worked through the idea of making her a pictorial schedule of the the current and following day and here is the final outcome!

The drawings were hand painted in gouache and then laminated and velcro-ed for durability and sticky fingers!

 

 Lets start at the very beginning.. Today and Tomorrow boards!

And the days of the week to pop at the top each day!

Today I joined the MOYO Directory!

Good afternoon folks, I'm very excited to announce that today I joined the MOYO directory, a resource to get Surface Pattern Designers publicised and network! I spent my evening last night designing a bit of a logo and this morning uploading some of my designs and here is the result below!

Here are a few little screenshots of the finished result, still not sure if the background is a bit overpowering, love to know your thoughts?

Vintage Print Inspiration

I have hoarded these images for almost a year, but think that they are far too beautiful not to share! They are from vintage wallpaper samples books..
