Lino printing bags at Furniture Magpie

Sam suggested that we customise her Furniture Magpie bags and I thought I'd give it a try.. The brief was using he words 'I'm a Magpie' and a retro typewriter font. Here is what happened!

Appliqué Babygros for little Thomas

So excited to announce my new baby Nephew Thomas Andrew Collingridge, he's such a cutie!

Here's what I've been making for him. An easy project of an evening, all you need is some basic babygros, some fabric scraps, coloured thread and a few spare hours. I drew out the designs then ironed them onto the front of the baby grows using interfacing for extra durability. Then I set about appliquéing the designs on top using a basic blanket stitch..

Here's an easy diagram if you needed some stitching help found on the Clones and Clowns blog!
Yours truly and little Thomas aged 10 days!
